A NEW INCOMEA New Income Q&A
Q: TAX HELP! What do I do? Okay, I'm disabled and recieve Social Security Disability Benefits. I also have a dependent child. I have no "Earned Income." The information I read, states that in order to get the "new" rebate, you must have at least $3000.00 annual income (which I do) and you must file a "Federal Tax Return" in order to get the rebate. I've tried filing my federal return twice and both times it was "Rejected" by the IRS because I have no "Earned Income." Anybody have any ideas as to what I'm supposed to do? Thanks A: Nothing. Social Security recipients should generally receive a $300 rebate. You'll get it automatically.
